Send your request early
Move dates are hard deadlines. The sooner the cleaner knows your date, the better the chance they can fit you in. In your request, include:
- Your move-out date, and whether there's any flexibility.
- Whether the apartment will be empty. An empty apartment is easier to clean.
- The size of the apartment.
- Anything your landlord or building expects, like the inside of the oven or fridge.

Want the new place clean before your things arrive? Choose "Move-out or move-in cleaning" in the request and tell us the date you get the keys. An empty apartment is the easiest time to clean it.
Building rules in NYC
Many buildings have rules for workers: set hours, the service entrance, booking the elevator. Mention any rules in your request so the cleaner can plan around them.
About your deposit
No cleaner can promise your landlord will return your deposit. That's between you and your landlord. A clean apartment is one less thing for them to point to.
What affects the cost
We can't give you a price. The cleaner quotes the job after asking about the apartment. The things that change the price most are:
- The size of the apartment.
- Whether it's empty.
- The condition it's in.
- The extras you ask for, like the inside of the oven, fridge or cabinets.
There's no cost to you for the connection, and you decide whether to go ahead.
